NOTICES & CALENDAR

With the present issues regarding petrol availability, please check Sporty Notices and the Club homepage for any changes to the nature of coming events.

Hopefully there will be no changes, but these are uncertain times.

2. CHANGE to event details **

With changed circumstances the MMM Run this month is now a short distance run - morning tea stop in Lyttelton and picnic near Sumner. (See Wed 15th April below)

3. Note: If using the 2026 MG Calendar (each month has a colour club photo) be careful in April - the month is printed without a 19th!! From that day on for the rest of April days and dates are wrong - i.e. are one day out! The correct April days and dates are below - in Sporty Notices and on the club homepage.

With this making the 2026 calendar a collectable there will be no refunds :).

Cracroft Guiding Centre - 151 Cashmere Rd

A daytime outdoor/indoor (if marginal weather) celebratory get-together with 'A's, 'GT's and 'F's - but all MGs obviously VERY welcome.

Also Annual Concours judging - all MG models.

You are encouraged to dress and picnic in the period of your car! A good time is assured! Watch for more details.

Welcome!

The MG Car Club Canterbury Centre has its roots in the original 'MG Car Club of New Zealand', formed in 1952 when many of the country's motorsport enthusiasts drove our favourite marque in the shape of TCs, TAs, Ps and Js.

From those early beginnings the NZ Club has devolved into four major Centres, two in the North Island and two in the South. Each of these Centres is autonomous, organising competitive and social events for members within its regions. Like the 'Crusaders' our region includes Nelson, Marlborough and the West Coast as well as Canterbury. There are also a range of inter-Centre and national activities you are able to enjoy. And of course, if you are visiting another region you will be most welcome to participate in any of their events, competitive or social.

Like most MG Clubs around the world we are affiliated to the MGCC UK ensuring access to badging, logos and so on. We also maintain regular contact with a number of Centres in NZ, Australia, the US and the UK to help ensure we offer the best possible benefits and MG enjoyment for all of our members.
